Description

On my path of research and experimentation, I gather and collect abandoned materials, traces of human life, clues. I hand-assemble these fragments of daily life to give them new life; it’s a “Frankensteinian practice.” I work with materials that react to light through transparency and/or reflection. This ability of translucent material to disappear and vibrate allows me to investigate the notion of lightness and movement. I study the abandonment of objects to terrestrial currents and the verticality of falling, rain, and waste. My artistic practice analyzes the link between water and impermeable materials, such as plastic and glass, their visual similarities, and their tendency to come into contact in everyday life.
