Description
I practice painting at the intersection of figuration and abstraction. I build the image from landscapes or interior views and try to move away from figuration to focus on color, on the dialogues between different shades, and on their interaction. I strive not to finish the image, or not to create it, but to get as close as possible to this creation. What is important to me is that color is seen as color, that its personality does not get lost in figuration, but that it comes close to it.
Biography
Born in 1991 in Trieste (IT), Branko Kante lives and works in Brussels. He graduated in painting from the Academy of Urbino (IT) and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Liège (BE).
