Description
Landscape of the Peasant World. The mobilizations at the beginning of 2024 reminded us of the suffering in the agricultural world, where farmers struggle to be heard and understood. Through my paintings, I seek to give a voice to these farmers, both men and women, from the countryside. The landscapes I depict are shaped by them and will endure over time. Meeting them to paint these places is also an opportunity to preserve a record, bringing their concerns and realities to a wider audience, hence the idea of combining sound testimonies with visual ones. My work primarily involves painting in rural areas, using watercolor and pastels.
Biography
From a very young age, I was drawn to art through a children’s workshop that combined various practices. Having pursued studies in social sciences and then in environmental studies, I am now trying to bring together these disciplines that I am passionate about.
