Description

INVISIBILITIES
My work explores the invisible life of emotional and sensory experiences, as well as the connection between the literal and the metaphorical. I create abstract gestural paintings that reveal the intelligence of the body, using color, fluidity, and details to express what goes beyond words. The supports are for me a second skin, serving to process my perceptions and to bring about organic conclusions. With my textual art, I use language to transform ideas, exploring the sonority and rhythm of words. This practice helps to recognize and transform mental patterns and egocentric behaviors into healthier thought processes. I reflect on the concept of freedom in relation to control and wonder how to infuse freedom into my art to spread it in the world. Perhaps true freedom is the ultimate subject of my exploration, and its resolution must organically emerge from the creative process.
