This year, we.art.xl celebrates its 5th anniversary and returns in full force with the 2024 edition of the Ixelles Artists’ Trail, which promises to be full of color!

Following the resounding success of the 2023 edition, which brought together nearly 20,000 art enthusiasts (no less!), we invite you to dive into the vibrant neighborhoods of Flagey-La Cambre this year for an equally rich and inspiring artistic adventure.

For this anniversary edition, nearly 500 artists will be showcasing their work in around forty locations over the course of a weekend.

Among the highlights, don’t miss the three major group exhibitions that will punctuate the tour. At the Cloister of the Cambre Abbey, you will discover the works of the ten favorite winners, alongside a refined selection of Ixelles artists. The Bardaf Workshops, located in a former factory, will host around forty artists gathered in a collective for a unique immersive experience. Finally, the Ixelles School of Arts will exceptionally open its doors to allow you to admire the creations of more than 300 academic artists.

For fans of urban and artistic exploration, the Ixelles Artists’ Trail is also about discovering unexpected and often historic exhibition venues.

But that’s not all! The 2024 Ixelles Artists’ Trail will also be an opportunity to experience captivating performances, with concerts by the Brussels Philharmonic, shows by the Yantra Academy dancers, and young talents from the Ixelles Academy performing in the Sainte-Croix Church on Friday the 13th, at the Music Academy on Saturday the 14th, and many other performers in the cloister of the Abbey from Thursday to Sunday.

Expanding horizons, nurturing curiosity, awakening the pleasure of discovery, enriching imaginations, and celebrating diversity are all priorities that we.art.xl has been striving to promote for the past 5 years.
