Description
After completing her artistic studies, she trained at the Institut Saint-Luc and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels.
While her early works still hinted at a touch of figurative forms, most of her current works lead the viewer into a whirlwind of colors that the artist loves to manage with complete freedom.
A few drawn lines can be glimpsed amidst the flows and blocks of color. Thus orchestrated, Sandra Keutgens’ painting offers conversations between strong colors, composed of contrasting blends and gestural intentions that breathe original dynamics into her work.
Following the path of lyrical abstraction or abstract expressionism, the young artist from Eupen brings a beautiful variation of forms, a strong, dynamic, and free chromatic play to abstract art.
