Description
Valentine Laffitte trained in illustration at Lycée Auguste Renoir in Paris and then at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. She regularly exhibits her work and conducts workshops for children focused on her technique. She teaches art in specialized secondary education.
Biography
• 2023: Exhibition at Festival Livresse, Le Vecteur, Charleroi – from October 6 to November 5, 2023
• 2021 – June/July: Residency at FabLab IMAL Brussels to learn how to use the laser cutter and with the aim of creating 3D sculptural wood modules on the theme of the Living.
• Since 2017, she has divided her time between editorial projects (Versant Sud Jeunesse, Editions CFC) and illustration projects for the press, magazines, or private commissions.
• 2014: Joined the Brussels-based illustration collective Cuistax.
• 2013: Created the collective KidZone Lab.
