Whether it’s with a few pieces of fabric, bits of lace, thread and a needle, watercolors, ceramics, witches, flowers, or acrylic paint, Zon has been creating a world of her own for 60 years. Her passion for the plant world has long been one of her favorite subjects.
Biography
Zon was born in Bukavu, where she discovered, thanks to her mother, the beauty of flora and the joy of embroidery and knitting. Upon arriving in Brussels during her teenage years, she pursued a training in visual arts and later taught drawing in Namur.
